We're pleased to inform you that we have successfully sent the Backerkit survey to all Backers today. Kindly participate in the survey sent by us to verify and confirm your shipping details. This presents an opportune moment to make any necessary amendments or updates to your delivery address, especially if it has changed since you initially placed the order.
In addition, Indiegogo has disbursed the funds as of yesterday (Thursday the 4th). According to their information, it is expected to reach us within 3 to 5 business days. We are hopeful that it arrives promptly.

I hope you all had a fantastic holiday. Welcome to 2024.
I am going to keep this very short. I couldn't post any updates as I was waiting to hear back from Indiegogo and Backerkit.
I know you are disappointed, and I am, too. The fulfilment delay of VoltaGo has disrupted many of our new product release plans.
1) Indiegogo got back to us today. They were sorry for the delay (they were on holiday) and are now resolving this issue.
2) Backerkit got back to us today. They are back from holiday and will approve the survey and send the smoke test.
Hopefully, the survey can go out today or tomorrow, and Indiegogo also release the funds.

Greetings,
We're puzzled by the discontent expressed by some backers who claim we've exploited them. It's important to clarify that we haven't received any funds from the payments made for the product.
Indiegogo has communicated that funds will be disbursed in the week of December 8, 2023, as indicated in the attached screenshot.
It seems interesting that there's a very high expectation for us to dispatch the product without prior receipt of the funds, covering both the product cost and shipping fees.
To be honest, we could have initiated fulfilment even before Indiegogo disbursed the funds (which we intend to, if not for the delay from Backerkit). We intend to do this despite past incidents where certain customers exploited us by initiating chargebacks with their banks after receiving the ordered product (those customers are aware of their actions).
As of now, the funds have not been received. As illustrated below, there has been no disbursement of funds:
Conversely, Backerkit was expected to approve and conduct a smoke test by sending surveys to 5% of the backers, a step they neglected while proceeding on holiday. This has been quite frustrating.
I emailed the Backerkit team multiple times, urging them to approve and dispatch the survey to our customers before they went on holiday.
Being based in the UK, I dispatched a few VoltaGo units to select UK backers. I took this step due to my longstanding relationship with these customers since the inception of Volta in 2017, knowing that I can trust them. Subsequently, one of them shared the VoltaGo video and pictures within the Volta Charger Insiders Group on Facebook:
Furthermore, one of the main reasons for using Backerkit is to facilitate the seamless updating of delivery information for backers. Additionally, it enables us to credit back the $5 save-a-spot fee to those who have made the payment. This marked our initial utilization of this feature, and we initially assumed that Indiegogo would automatically enable backers to cover the price difference. It's important to note that we don't blame Indiegogo for this, as the feature was still in Beta testing mode.

Good everyone,
The VoltaGo stocks have arrived, and I am delighted to share the good news with you.
UK stock got delivered today, December 20th.
Australian stock was delivered two days ago - on the 18th of December.
USA stock was delivered two days ago - the 18th of December.
The EU (Netherlands) stock will be delivered tomorrow, the 21st of December.
We encountered some errors with the Backerkit survey, which will be sent out in 12 hours. Please be on the lookout and check your spam folders.
Finally, Indiegogo has yet to disburse the funds to us.
