This update is mostly to the backers in the EU region.
It's been an interesting week for us as we continue to wait for the rest of the VoltaGo to arrive at our Netherlands warehouse.
I am sincerely sorry for the shipment's delay in reaching the few people waiting in the EU region.
Because we had already accounted for the precise number of backers who were to receive their shipment, we sent out these exact units (with a few extras) that would require us to fulfil the orders of all the backers in the EU region. We then shipped the rest of the VoltaGo via the Sea, just as we did the units we sent to the USA, UK, and Australia.
When the initial VoltaGo was sent out, some Courier services cancelled some shipments. We had to wait for them to be returned to us. Unfortunately, almost all of them never made it back to us. We had to file an insurance claim with the courier and our 3PL.
This case was not isolated to EU customers; it also affected our customers in the UK and Australia. This means we had to reship the entire order and wait for the sea stock to arrive. The VoltaGo arrived in Australia, the USA and the UK within the timeline they were to arrive, but the EU got delayed by two weeks for some unknown reason.
Here is the Screenshot for the UK - it was sent on the 9th of January and was delivered on the 26th of February:
The Netherlands shipment was sent around the same period on the 11th of January and it is yet to be delivered:
I was told there was a two-week delay, which was what I communicated to those waiting via email. I checked in today with the logistics company and was told that it is now in the GE Port and will arrive in NL shortly. See below:
As I said, we are filling insurance claims through our 3PL, RoyailMail and AusPost:
Royal Mail has also just sent us some payments for the VoltaGo that got lost in transit (they have sent us five cheques so far):
I know you want to receive your order, and I am trying to get it into your hands. This delay is actually costing us a lot. We were supposed to have released the VoltaGo on our website in January, but we couldn't because of these pending orders.
As I said, this was essential in perfecting our fulfilment as the VoltaGo was the first power bank we shipped internationally. We wanted to perfect and learn how to do this correctly before we released our Qi2 340W Power Bank with 27,000mah Capacity, for which we have received the official Qi certification. As it supports 15W wireless Fast Charging (the first of its kind), we are right above Tesla's Wireless charger:
Finally, I do not want to post and send out updates for the sake of it. I had to wait until I had a tangible update to share. The rest of the VoltaGo should get to the Netherlands by Saturday. You won't need to remind us again before we send them to you.

Thank you for all your support. We appreciate you for backing us and helping us make this project a reality. This was our first power bank project, and we are happy with the result.
I made the video below to show a few things and how to get the best charging experience from your VoltaGo.

Fulfilments:
There are still 27 backers who have yet to complete their backerkit survey. We won't be able to ship your order if you do not complete your backer kit survey.
To date, we have successfully fulfilled almost all other orders. Except for a few pending orders that are yet to be shipped in Australia (12 orders), Europe (9 orders) & Middle East (3 orders).
If you are one of the few people in Europe & Australia, below is the reason why you are yet to receive your order: Most of the first shipments we shipped out that were returned to us by DHL & Evri are yet to be returned to us.
However, we had expected new power bank sets to arrive in our EU and Australia warehouses by the weekend. These power banks were shipped via the Sea, and the ship arrived on the 12th of February.
Hopefully, they will get to us as soon as possible. Those for the USA and the UK have arrived, but not these other regions. So please exercise a little more patience with us.

We have now fulfilled 80% of the orders.
UK - 100% (the final batch was shipped today and should arrive by tomorrow (Friday or the weekend) USA - All done (except for 13 Backers that failed to complete their Backerkit Survey) Australia - 95% done (20 backers left - we shipped these out, but they were returned to us, and we will need to process them again - we need some clarity from the courier regarding the documents required - yes, they are being shipped from Sydney). EU - 85% done (we will process all pending shipments next week due to courier and documentation issues). Asia - 100% done (except - India - 4, Kuwait - 1, Qatar 2 & Pakistan 2 - we have a solution for this and will ship from the UK to you via DPD (3- 5 days delivery) - sending you an email shortly; please check your emails, including spam folder))

Hi everyone,
We know you have been waiting for the delivery of your VoltaGo. We have them and we have processed almost all the orders. But the couriers have delayed the delivery for some unknown reasons.
We are working on getting the couriers to deliver these orders to you. This issue is not isolated to the UK orders but to the USA, Australia, EU and the rest of the world. I decided to share a screen recording to show you what is happening.
We want you to get the products, but the more we delay the delivery, the more losses we incur. We cannot launch the VoltaGo on our website and many other products due to launch. We want you to have them more than you want them.
Several backers have received theirs, and I wish they could share testimonials or feedback on the product in the comment section. We did not hold back from this product. It is one of the best products we've ever made. We have upped our game and are determined to take Volta to the next level this year, 2024. We have you in mind, and we genuinely want to please you with the best of the best products.

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to provide a quick update on your orders. We are diligently working to fulfill them, but there's a slight delay in the process.
I understand that some of you have already received your orders, and for those who haven't, please be assured that we're working hard to get them to you. If you haven't received a shipment confirmation, it's due to weather-related delays, and we appreciate your patience.
Unfortunately, a few shipments were returned to us by UPS due to missing details. We have identified and corrected the issues, and these orders will be resent promptly.
